Ferry Quay number 2
The Felison Terminal has two quays for docking ferry
vessels. Cruise
Ferry Quay No. 2, located on the South side of the Felison Terminal, with a
length of 240 metres and a draught of 8.5 metres NAP, is ideal for Europe's
largest cruise ferry vessels. Because the quay is directly connected to open
sea, a modern hydraulic RoRo bridge is installed to compensate for tide
differences. A roofed-in, covered hydraulic footbridge provides a direct
connection between ships and the terminal building for foot passengers. The
Cruise Ferry vessels of DFDS
Seaways, on their daily service between Amsterdam ( IJmuiden ) and
Newcastle, are currently docking at Quay No.2.
The
spacious marshalling area outside the terminal enables quick and efficient
dispatch of cars and lorries. Our experienced stevedores use the latest
equipment to ensure the swift and efficient dispatch of freight.
A bar, TV and babycare unit are all part of the modern furnishings of our
departure lounge. Extensive Customs and Immigration facilities prevent delays
at departures or arrivals. Our professional terminal employees are of hand to
give assistance with last-minute bookings, check-ins or transits.
