Ferry Quay number 3

Quay No. 3 is located in IJmuiden’s Third Harbour. It has a length of 350 meters and a draught of 11 meters NAP. This berth is the homeport for the Ferry Vessel of Nedlines. Nedlines runs a daily service between Harwich and Amsterdam ( IJmuiden ) This ferry service is mainly for lorry traffic, but drivers with cars are welcome as well although capacity is limited. Bookings can be made via KVSA. The terminal is fully equipped with all the facilities needed to run a ferry service for lorry drivers. It also has a high level of security to ensure their safety. The spacious vehicle marshalling area enables quick and efficient dispatch of cars and lorries. Our experienced stevedores use the latest equipment to ensure the swift and efficient dispatch of freight.

A link span has been installed for an efficient connection between the quay and the vessel and to correct for tidal differences. Quay No. 3 has it’s own terminal building with dedicated Customs and Immigration Facilities . This allows us to quickly process cars and lorries and get them on their way.
